We had a date with Pam Finnerman from Houston. Pam and her delightful husband Phil (I have to say that because he might read this) are from Houston, but also own an estate jewelry store in Carmel (connected to the Clint Eastwood building, Clint is his landlord). Phil and Pam have been rotating their time between their store in Houston and the store in Carmel. They see each other during the "flip". Like to ships that pass in the night!
Pam is a doll! We took her to the Monterey Fish House. A great little restaurant that was started by a family of fisherman. The food is fresh, delicious and very reasonable. Pam had salmon, I had snapper and Rex had halibut. Fabu! A great evening of camaraderie. Pam leaves this coming Sunday and we will miss her.
This is the place with great baby octopus. We didn't opt for it last night, so I had to post an old picture of Lori Jones.
Sorry that this post was about food, but my next post will have a story about septic tanks and a nun we met from Sister Teresa's order (at a Chinese restaurant of course).
More later hope you like the pics.
